Hey all, over the past few months the site hasn’t seen much action with many new post’s, this has been for various reasons work, health etc. Now that i have my blogging time back i have decided to get back into the habit of posting here at Social CMS Buzz. I will be making some changes but nothing too drastic, read on to find out some more.

When I started writing this blog I mainly covered subjects that interested me at the time which was mainly Pligg, as years have passed (nearly 2 now) however I no longer have any real interest in Pligg or use it. This means to be motivated to write on this blog I need new subject matter that interests me which means covering a wider variety of CMS systems in more depth.

In the coming months some things will be changing here at Social CMS Buzz content wise, I plan on still covering social web applications like Pligg, Drigg when anything worth reporting on happens. We also however want to cover other social modules and plugins related to a wider CMS base like Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla etc along with providing tutorials for these systems.

I also know that the drigg community at the moment is in limbo and considered by some to be lacking support, at least until Tony gets back on track. The actual Drigg system however is being used on some successful sites and has proved itself to be the reliable digg clone system of choice. For this reason we will be providing as much support to drigg users and owners as possible to help the community out a little and maybe move forward development by putting more heads together to improve the project.

I may also redesign the site to better present the new content and improve the old contents presentation into the bargain. Let’s see if i have time
