PressMark delicious clone is a highly customized version of the popular WordPress cms system that functions as a social bookmarking site like del.icio.us. Delicious clone scripts like GetBoo and Scuttle have been in existence for a while but neither of these systems can offer the security or expandability of a WordPress based system. PressMark is a simple social bookmarking solution and is ideal for beginners.

PressMark allows users to submit their favorite links into the system which are then categorized by tags, submitted bookmarks can be individually set to private or public for obvious reasons. Installing PressMark is exactly like installing a normal version of wordpress and at the time of writing PressMark is based on v2.6 of wordpress.

Below are the only added steps you need take to other than installing wordrpress as you normally would to acheive a bookmarking site.

• In ‘Design’: select ‘Prologue’ theme;
• In ‘Setting’: select ‘Anyone can register’ and set the ‘New User Default Role’ to ‘Author’ if you want your users to post links;
• In ‘Plugins’: activate ‘WP-OpenID’ plugin
