WeFollow A User Powered Twitter Directory By Kevin Rose Of Digg
Founder of Digg Kevin Rose is one of the most followed users on Twitter over 400′000 at the time of writing, it’s hardly surprising then that Rose’s latest project launch is a user generated twitter directory titled WeFollow.
WeFollow lists user on twitter by tags and the total number of followers they have, anyone can join and submit their twitter profile to WeFollow under three tags of their choice. Tags act like categories for users so if you tweet about tech, design, wordpress you can add your twitter profile to WeFollow using those tags.
To join WeFollow you simply goto the WeFollow website, verify you twitter account and insert some hashtag WeFollow code into a twitter post/tweet. The affair is relatively quick and painless, users of twitter who know what hashtags are will be familiar with the whole process.

There are really no features to speak about at WeFollow it’s simply a resource to find out who is popular on twitter according to raw follower count. Expect celebrities, large websites, musicians and web celebs to top the charts in the usual categories on WeFollow like News, Tech, Comedy, Tv, Sports etc. Digg a little deeper into some of the more unusal tags and it can become an interesting overview of what and who is popular on twitter.
