Pligg Latest Submitted Story Module v0.1 Released

After the release of our PliggBroadcast template we received quite a few emails from users asking if it would be possible to adapt the Latest Submitted Story feature of the PliggBroadcast template into a standalone pligg module that would function within any pligg template. Today we are pleased to announce the release of our Pligg Latest Submitted Story Module v0.1.

Requires: Pligg v9.9.0 or Pligged v9.9.1

Description
Allows the site owner to display the latest submitted story on the main published page of their pligg site. All content is pulled automatically and no configuration is needed.

Revision History
v0.1 First version

Install Instructions
1. Upload the folder latest_story to your pligg modules folder.
2. Goto your admin panel and activate the module.
3. Clear /cache and /templates_c folders.
4. That’s the install completed.

    I just worked on putting a ‘Featured Story’ on the top of my site. I might take a look at your module. I would like to have a ‘Featured Story’ or ‘Latest Submitted’ and have them rotate among four to five different stories. Good work on this one.
