Patchlog.com have just released a great update to the pligg XML Site Maps module for v9.9.0. The Pligg XML Sitemap module is now at v0.8 and has had many improvements and bug fixes made to the latest version, some of the improvements include a cache feature so the site maps are not regenerated continuously along with an important date format fix. Drigg is a module for drupal that we have wrote about many times before and functions like pligg if not better than in many ways. Tony mobily the lead developer has just announced a major re write of the module as well as having some new dedicated developers join the team. Whilst pligg has lost developers and valuable contributors like an alzheimer’s patient loses their memory Drigg is adding developers and forging ahead, could Drigg become the preferred solution for current pligg users, read on to find out more.

XML Sitemaps module for pligg generates sitemaps for all your pligg stories and categories to be used with major search engines like google, yahoo, ask etc. PatchLog.com had previously released a sitemaps module for an older version of pligg v9,7 I think, this module stopped working after the release of v9.8 of pligg. Today we release a fully functioning version for Pligg v9.9.0, thanks to all who tested this and ironed the errors that were reported in sitemap-pages section.
