FoxieWire Reborn And Now Uses Drigg For Drupal

FoxieWire a social news site dedicated to Mozilla based news has recently relaunched with a new and improved system thats built upon Drigg for Drupal. Up until the recent change to Drigg FoxieWire was one of the most trafficked bookmarking site’s that had ran the Pligg system.

That’s great news! As far as I know this is the first site that runs the Drigg code in a production site, except drigg.org of course. Do they have an article on why they they moved away from Pligg and to Drupal/Drigg?

I asked graphicsguru about it and its mainly due to lack of support and security issues, the same old complaint.
I’m putting my faith in Social Web CMS, I found Drupal tough to setup.
Drigg does have a Pligg importer though, not sure what it imports though.
