Digg Has At Least One Thing In Common With Pligg it Got Spammed Too

Digg Social NewsDigg Social News website and it’s open source clone Pligg usually have very little in common bar the voting concept, Digg has had investment of around $11.3 Million whilst pligg has near to no investment. One thing they do have in common though it would seem is submission spam.

So there i was browsing Digg like i do most days and 10 pages of the design section were full of this crap (See Image Below). Normally it’s Pligg webmasters suffering spam attacks like the recent attack over at DesignFloat, to see this type and amount of spam at digg however isn’t that common in my experience.
