 Pligg Randomly Featured Story Module v0.1Earlier this month we released our Pligg Latest Submitted Story Module v0.1 after receiving some requests from users after seeing the feature within our Pligg Broadcast Template.
Today we are pleased to announce the release of Pligg Randomly Featured Story Module v0.1 which is another module that many of you have asked about. The Pligg Randomly Featured Story Module v0.1 will display a randomly featured story on the homepage of your pligg site, stories are sourced from both the upcoming and published sections of your pligg website. You can see an example of this module in the image below taken from our SocialVantage v1.1 Template. Attachment: pligg_random_featured_story_module.jpg Created by: Social CMS Buzz - http://socialcmsbuzz.com/ Created on: 30th July 2008 Requires: Pligg v9.9.0 or Pligged v9.9.1 Description Allows the site owner to display a randomly selected story from the upcoming or published sections on the main page. Revision History v0.1 First version Install Instructions 1. Upload the folder random_featured_story to your pligg modules folder. 2. Goto your admin panel and activate the module. 3. Clear /cache and /templates_c folders. 4. That's the install completed.
