Hi, I need to fix my pligg site and I hope you guys can help me a bit. ( I tried the help forum, but no new topic button there )

This is what I need:
• Upgrade to Pligg 9.9, now I have 9.8.2.
• Image upload module working perfectly.
• If a URL is not required in step 1, make it like that, no URL at all, not a 1 or -1 linking to nowhere. ( I cant use this because of that )
• Antispam features.
• As image upload module is installed, I want the images to apear in the RSS Feeds.
• Having the option to replace the actual pligg feeds with my feedburner ones.
• Who voted and Related stories working.

What do you recomend to do ? Its really frustrating having it like that.

• Upgrade to Pligg 9.9, now I have 9.8.2.
Pretty straight forward process to upgrade pligg from 9.8.2 to 9.9.0 the only thing you would need to consider is your template if it's custom as that will need updated also. You can find more info on 9.8.2 tp 9.9.0 template changes here pligg-template-upgrade-instructions-t35.html.

If you are planning to upgrade the site always make a full backup beforehand ie, FIles and database this way you always have a untouched working version if things go horribly wrong. Also never upgrade a live site read our tutorial here http://socialcmsbuzz.com/run-wamp-as-a- ... -20022008/ and it will show you how to run a development server on your home pc that can run pligg, you can then install a copy of your site backup here and update safely for testing.

The latest version of the image upload in our modules section of the forum works 100% with v9.9.0 of pligg.

Do you mean Editorial Mode ie no external story link?

There is an ASKIMET Spam module available for pligg but it was only ever 25% finished coded by the developers and is pretty useless really.

Something i have never even looked into before but with the correct code it is possible.

I would say the easiest way to achieve this is by .htaccess redirects as you can maintain it better that way especially if pligg ever changescode, your feeds are one less headache to update again this way

• Who voted and Related stories working.
Who voted and related stories should work in v9.8.2? but i know for sure they work in v9.9.0 fine.
