NOTE: The Pligg Developers have left this module around 25% finished so options cannot be configured, spam cannot be deleted and overall it work's poorly, just a heads up.

1. You'll need a WordPress API key if you don't already have one. You can get one here... Where is my WordPress.com API key? « WordPress.com
2. Enable the Akismet module from you Administration panel Modules
3. Access the module by using the 'Spam' link at the top
4. Enter your WordPress API key

If Akismet says a comment is spam, it will not be saved. It just disappears.

If Akismet says a story is spam, it is still submitted, but there will be a link at the top to either confirm or deny that it is spam. Confirming will change the status to discard.

Changes In v0.4a

Somtimes a story could take as long as 45seconds to submit when ASkimet was enabled this has now been drastically improved thanks to davy68.

Someone posted a fix for the previous version at PLigg, I did the fix and it was a major difference. I'm wondering if there are other improvements i.e. should I upgrade still?

Hi cacth,

No need to upgrade m8 same fix but only included in the module for easy install to users who don't know how to edit code, plus the code at pligg has some spaces that cause the module not to work on third step, this just makes it easier for those who wouldn't know to remove the spaces.
