Hey guys I'm having some issues with gutting the TrackBack system working with pligg 9.8.2. I have posted for support in the main site and I'm also posting here inside these forums! I notice you have it working on the CMS blog could you possibly walk me through fixing mine over at blog engage?

Hi Brian,

From what i remember trackbacks never worked in v9.8.2, we are using v9.9.0 and they work fine now. I would suggest you upgrade to v9.9.0 of pligg as it has some good improvments over v9.8.2 including some better cache etc.

If you need any help upgrading let me know m8 and i can lend a hand if you like.

I'm afraid to upgrade! I have many detail mods and I also have the blog integrated with pligg!

I'm assuming no one knows a fix for 9.8.2?

Unfortunately m8 i don't

The safest way to upgrade a pligg install is to make a complete backup of the live site then place that backup on a development server or WAMP. You can then edit and upgrade in complete saftey.

Does you blog integration also consolidate pligg and wordpress logins or is it just styled the same. If it's only styled the same there is no hassle at all.

Another reason I haven't upgraded is due to spam! Pligg is so bad for spam and right now I have a few mods installed that are stopping this from happening such as e-mail confirmation and the word press spam mod!

I heard these aren't working with pligg 9.9.0

Ahh well i have been meaning to get email validation working with v9.9.0 i will take a look at that for ya m8 and report back.
