hi madbuthcer,
unfortunately there isn't any upgrade instructions or tutorials at this time as the SEO EDITION is meant for a clean install. if you wanted to upgrade you would however need to 301 redirect your old categories to the new URLs, at the present moment i don't have the time to go over all the details but their are plenty of resources on Google showing how to 301 redirect pages. best lincoln |

I' m an italian webmaster and a really newbie on Pligg Cms (I'm a Joomla addicted) but FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY After 4 reinstallation of Pligg i changed the ugly default template... I'm a Newbie but I think that now I'm able to change template because i Downloaded this version of Pligg!! Really really thanks !!
But i've a question: i noticed that some templates doesn't work on my site (coolwater) so i will use "convergence", that is really comfortable for all resolutions... but the question is : HOW CAN I AVOID THAT USERS CAN CHANGE TEMPLATE?? In particular: HOW CAN I HIDE THE settemplate.php PAGE TO THE USERS AND CRAWLERS?? In Admin-->Configure Pligg Beta9 ---> Template I modified this value : description: Allow user to change the template. value: false default value: true expected values: true / false But after that, if i go to settemplate.php i can see the others templates... Please help me!! |

LincolnHawks, thank you very much for Pligg.SEO.EDITION.v9.9.0a versión and his templates. It's great
Only one thing I have installed a clean Pligg.SEO.EDITION.v9.9.0a.Social.CMS.Buzz and it works OK. I have activated this modules: Lightbox v0.1 - Image Upload v1 - Xml sitemaps v0.2 - Thickbox v0.1 - Embed Videos - But when I submit a new story and attach a small image (25 Kb). It's appears this error: 1 image error(s) found. - Error processing image. You can still submit this entry and edit it later with a smaller image or click MODIFY to try a different image. My question is: Have I to make the changes that appears in Image Upload Module v1.02? Copy the "image_upload" module to your modules directory. Code: 1. Edit: /templates/(your template)/submit_step_2.tpl Look for: <form action="submit.php" method="post" name="thisform" id="thisform"> -change to- <form action="submit.php" method="post" name="thisform" id="thisform" enctype="multipart/form-data"> Required for file uploads. In the same file, add: {php} // Start: Image Upload Module check_actions('image_upload_form'); // End: Image Upload Module {/php} etc. Or there is an another error? Can you help me with this? Thanks |

Hello.
Nice EDITION, but I've some problems with .htaccess in the /home of the site: On: http://www.chevauxduweb.com/upcoming when you click on urls, the link is without the root domain: http://sante-du-cheval-maladies-des-che ... oteur-com/ Some idea ? I made some changes with utf-8 tagging and french accents... Best regards ! |
