Hmmmmm. Excellent. Now I don’t have to stress my programmer friends to help to do this. Thanks again for your work guys

Thanks for the tutorial, I am myself trying to start my pligg site.
I was just wondering, looking at the image; isn’t it a bit intrusive for the users?

When I add this my sidebar goes to the footer of my page! I’ll post a support question inside the community forums!

Awesome modification!

Hi,
I know very well that I must enter the code Adsense (example: pub-353563838 …).
The issue is that if I follow your tutorial step to step and create files that you say, by entering the code Adsense as follows (for example):

(if $ pagename neq “story”)

(if $ link_shakebox_index eq 4)

pub-22544543664 …

(/ if)

(if $ link_shakebox_index eq 8)

pub-232654553 …

(/ if)

(/ if)

After completing the other steps:
(include file = $ the_template. “/ adsense/468ads_main.tpl”)

Etc ….

When I see this page makes me see only the code, thus (take a look):

http://www.iperdata.com/adsense.png

and not the Adsense Google …

I know, may be a stupid thing, but if I do understand there are grateful.

hi clark,

You need to goto the Adsense website and generate a 468×60 banner, and insert the FULL code snippet. Not just your publisher id, the full snippet for any google advert is Javascript.

Hi,
I am using the newest version of pligg 9.9. I have done your tutorial step by step but my page shows an error after I insert the code: {include file=$the_template.”/adsense/468ads_main.tpl”}

I believe I am inserting thsi code in the wrong place because I cannot locate the exact location with your description.
Could you please let me know where I exactly should insert {include file=$the_template.”/adsense/468ads_main.tpl”} in my link_summary.tpl?

I appreciate your help.
