WPscoop or "Wordpress Scoop" to give it's full working title is a social news, bookmarking and networking website dedicated to the Wordpress CMS blogging web application. Built using the Drigg for Drupal system WPscoop which launched around a month ago is the latest project to have chosen the Drigg system.

Lemon Twist Pligg Free Template
Recently Pligg have semi released an edited open source Wordpress template titled Lemon Twist for Pligg, the reason we say semi released is due to pligg asking that You "Do Not Redistribute" the template unless asking YankiDank permission first?. This along with a few other naive errors breaks the original GNU General Public License which the template was released under originally by it's creator Chris Murphy of farfromfearless.com.

SWCMS Releases Beta of Akismet Anti-Spam Rewrite.
Over the last several weeks Informed Networker has worked in conjunction with dollars5 (a great outsourced development firm) to rewrite the Akismet Anti-Spam module for Social Web CMS. Informed Networker has released a beta version of what is deemed the 0.6 release over on the SWCMS forums. This module is backwards compatible with Pligg.
